Elk Creek CDE Awards Offered
A bottle of “Elk Creek” wine and 6 ribbons will be awarded in each class.
Championship ribbons will be given for:
Best Dressage score in each division – in Memory of Bob Fetters aka “Dressage Boy”
Best Cones in the Preliminary and Intermediate divisions – in Memory of Deb Ford
Best Marathon and VSE Marathon in the Preliminary and Intermediate divisions
Other special awards include:
Best Young Driver under 18 years as of 1/01/10
Best Young Horse perpetual trophy (bust of a single driving horse) to be engraved with the winner’s name and retained in their home for one year. All five and six year old horses, ponies & VSE’s entered in the Training & Preliminary Divisions (singles & multiples) are eligible. The best combined Dressage and Cones scores without elimination in the marathon will determine the winner.
This award is presented in honor of Lana Wright and in memory of
Beale Wright Morris.

Best Intermediate Single Horse Marathon perpetual plaque to be engraved with the winner’s name and retained in their home for one year. This award is presented in memory of
Scott Shinn.

Class ribbons and awards will generally be available at the Awards Desk (not the Scorer!) one hour after the official (signed) class scores are posted. If an objection is submitted to the President of the Ground Jury within the time limit, awards for the class will be delayed until the objection is resolved.
Division and Special Awards will be available within 1 hour after the official scores have been posted for the last class…assuming there are no objections.
See ADS Rule Article 911, 7.5.5 “Objections concerning scoring may be raised up to one-half hour after the official scores are posted for each Competition. Exception: mathematical or transcription errors may be corrected up to 1 hour after the final classification for the event.”
