Elk Creek CDE has established a “no frills” reputation, combined with a strong educational opportunity to further drivers’ skills, while enjoying the weekend at Fair Hill.  The clinic this year will be given by Tracey Morgan, advanced competitor and “r” judge.  With her Dartmoor ponies, Tracey has won eight National Championships in the pony pair division.  She is a veteran of four Pony World Championships for the USA team; she finished fifth in Greven, Germany,  in 2009.  This year she has competed a Morgan stallion in the Intermediate Division, winning at Live Oak and Sunshine State CDE’s.

Tracey will begin the clinic with a focus on cones. “Plan your double clear cones drive” is the theme. Clinic participants will convene at the cones course to walk the course and discuss the approach to cones.  The second half of the clinic will be directed to achieving your personal best CDE score – actions the whip can take to help your score and mistakes to avoid.  Q and A will give everyone an opportunity to cover loose ends.
